Good point--added a GH issue for it [0] & hope to get to this this weekend!

In the meantime (at least for Chrome), you can clone / download the repo, zip it, and then load into Chrome yourself.

Thanks for this--added a GH issue [0] to track this; hope to get around to it this weekend.

Thanks so much! I just published the repo[0] & created some GH issues based on HN feedback. Here's the issue for Figma[1]--I'd like to get to it this weekend, but feel free to beat me to it!

No reason why it can’t be! I’ll make the repo public when I’m at my computer.

And absolutely, would love suggestions for other sites to support. A few folks were suggesting them in this thread: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34543801

Here you go! https://github.com/zchr/zoomies

I'm new to open-sourcing my repos, so if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears :)

Thanks, all! Will work on adding these :)

Thanks for this—this is instructive! Definitely going to change this on the next version submission. You’re right; if I want to support additional websites, then I should explicitly add them to host_permissions.

Hi HN! I love the concept of ranked-choice voting, so I thought it would be useful for situations that often spawn a survey. This site is pretty darn simple--no accounts, totally free for the time being.

I hope others find this useful :) And I'm dog-fooding a bit to figure out what features are worth adding [0]. Looking forward to getting feedback!

Hi HN! First, a call-out that this only works in the U.S., and it's built on top of GetMyVaccine.org [0].

I've been volunteering with Vaccine Fairy [1] to help people find & book covid vaccine appointments. (As an aside, I've had a phenomenal time volunteering with them and would encourage anyone with the time to sign up as well!) I didn't want to keep refreshing appointment trackers, so I put together a python script that saves data to Airtable and emails me whenever a new appointment becomes available. I hope folks find this helpful--would appreciate any and all feedback!

Great question--I hadn't thought of this. I've never added AI to an app, but in school I built games with computer players that use depth-first search algorithms. It was pretty straight-forward to implement, and it was trivial to determine how "hard" you wanted the computer to play (you would just choose how deep for it to search).

Let me know if you're interested in seeing this--could be a fun addition!

Hi HN,

This past weekend, I had an itch to play hearts with three of my friends. Other sites were asking me to make an account, download an app, or play with strangers/computers. I threw together my own version where all you have to do is send your friends a link. There's aren't many bells and whistles, but let me know if something is missing--I would love to build this out.

I've open sourced it (https://github.com/zchr/hearts). It's a Node app with a Vue component for managing game state. State is shared between you and your friends with Socket.io. It's my first time using Vue/Socket (and publishing a web app, really), so I look forward to hearing thoughts on the stack.
